Chinatown Heritage Centre
UI/UX Illustration 2D Animation Programming (Flash AS3)
The Chinatown Heritage Centre is more than just a museum; it’s a living testament to the enduring spirit and resilience of the early Chinese immigrants who arrived in Singapore in search of a better life. Housed within three restored shophouses on Pagoda Street, the centre encapsulates the everyday life of these pioneers and their struggles and triumphs in a foreign land.
Each exhibit is meticulously curated, providing a holistic portrayal of the trials and tribulations faced by these immigrants, from their arrival on overcrowded boats to their experiences of cramped living conditions.
