UI/UX Illustration 2D Animation
Many factors contributed to Singapore’s low inflation and steady growth in its first 50 years. A key reason was the smart management of monetary policies and careful oversight of financial sectors.
The MAS Gallery explains how the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) works as both a Central Bank and a Regulator in an easy-to-understand way. Through interactive games, visitors can play policymaker, adjust monetary policy settings in different scenarios, or learn about saving for retirement.

Guardians of the SGD
Summary: This interactive aims to help visitors understand how MAS conducts intervention operations in implementing monetary policy. It demonstrates how asset allocation decisions and intervention operations impact the amount of Official Foreign Reserves (OFR) available, and emphasizes the crucial role MAS plays in instilling confidence in the Singapore dollar.

Asset Classes
Summary: The objective of this interactive is to help visitors understand how the International Financial Centre (IFC) has developed over the years. The asset classes that make up our IFC, along with our critical success factors, will be highlighted. The key takeaway message for visitors is that Singapore’s IFC is a sound, progressive, competitive, and valued partner. Additionally, it aims to communicate Singapore’s strong value proposition as an International Financial Centre.

Summary: How can consumers take financial decisions with confidence? This role-playing interactive helps visitors understand the dos and don’ts when purchasing a financial product.

Financial Awareness
Summary: The interactive aims to impress upon users the importance of financial planning, educate them on the steps involved, and inform them that they can acquire help from the MoneySense website. The visitor will help a virtual character set his financial goals and achieve it through various funding methods.
